Personal Notes:
I have this preparation being taught to John and Jason by PawPaw. This was the recipe PawPaw contributed and prepared at every Christmas. Johnny almost overheated the hand mixer and Jason was sitting at his side grinning form ear to ear and laughing. Whiskey was the only alcohol I ever saw PawPaw enjoy and it was only used in this one recipe. One bottle lasted him for decades. Mawmaw received one bottle of Morgan David red wine every Christmas from PawPaw. She enjoyed it while PawPaw mixed and then drank his egg nog.
