1/4 lb. margarine
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c sifted flour
1 top baking powder
1 c nuts (optional)
1 tsp vanilla
1 lb can chocolate syrup
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, and sugar, add 1 egg at a time. Add 1/2 can of chocolate syrup, beat. Add rest of ingredients, Pour into greased & floured loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Cake is rich use powdered sugar icing.
