You can have a wonderful time with children over the toddler age by choosing a movie they will enjoy, making popcorn & Kool-ade, spreading a blanket on the floor in front of the TV and turning out the lights and pretending to be at the movies. For toddler children, take the time to teach them to "help" you when doing mundane tasks. Also, take a few minutes & read to them. All young children love to have their parents undivided attention.
