3/4 c. unpopped popcorn, popped
3 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. water
pinch of salt
pinch of soda, after mixture is off burner

Directions:
Directions:
Pop the popcorn. Keep it warm in a 250º preheated oven.
Place all the ingredients, except the soda, in a pan and bring to a boil. Boil until soft ball stage, remove from heat and add the soda. Pour over popcorn and stir until entirely coated. Put hands in cold water and form into balls.

This recipe is from my Grandma Dawson. She used to make it at Halloween. It makes about 15 popcorn balls. Can double the recipe and use 1 1/2c. popcorn unpopped popcorn.
