1 and 1/4 cup fresh basil
6 springs fresh parsley
1/2 cup pine nuts (can use walnuts)
2 or three cloves chopped garlic
6 T soft butter
6 T olive oil
1/2 cup parmesan/romano cheese, preferably freshly grated.

Comibne all the ingredients together in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Freezes well!

A little of this goes a long way with regard to flavor. You may want to consider freezing in an old fashioned ice tray to make cubes that thaw easily for a quick garnish to pasta, fish, etc.
