Ingredients:  
1 Large onion chopped
1 tsp thyme
1 T butter
1 tsp oregano
1 1/4 ground beef
1 bay leaf
1 6 ounce can tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
1 4 ½ ounce jar of sliced mushrooms
1 package Italian spaghetti sauce mix
2 14 ½ can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp garlic salt
1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water



Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet heat the butter and saute the onion until tender. Remove from skillet. Add the ground beef; cook until browned. In a large saucepan combine all ingredients. Simmer over low heat for about an hour. Serve over your favorite pasta. This sauce can be frozen.
