3 cups peeled, sliced apples
1/4 cup cinnamon and sugar

Squash mixture:
3 cups cooked squash
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash white pepper

Topping:
1/3 cup pecans
1 1/2 cups crushed corn flakes
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a round glass Pyrex dish. Put the apples in a ziploc bag with the cinnamon and sugar and shake until coated. Place the coated apples in the bottom of the dish in a loose single layer.

Blend together the ingredients to make the squash mixture, then spread it over the apples. Blend together the ingredients for the topping, then spread it over the squash.

Bake at 350º until cooked through (30 minutes +). Recipe can be doubled or tripled.
