4 tbsp margarine or butter
1/2 c flour
5 c milk (reconstituted powdered milk works best)
1 jar Ragu cheese sauce
1 pkg frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
salt and pepper to taste
cubed ham or cooked crumbled bacon (optional)
mashed potato flakes for thickening (optional)

Melt butter, stir in flour until mixed well. Add milk and cheese sauce; bring to boil, stirring constantly. Add cooked broccoli, salt, and pepper. Thicken with mashed potato flakes if needed.
