1 c. ketchup
2 T. packed brown sugar
2 T. cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 c beef broth or water
1 c. seasoned bread stuffing
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 T. dehydrated green pepper flakes
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef

Directions:
In large mixing bowl combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and garlic salt. Remove 1/2 c. and set aside. To sauce in bowl add broth or water, stuffing, onion, green pepper flakes, salt, pepper and egg. Let stand 5 minutes. Add beef and mix well. Pack mixture in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Spread with reserved sauce. Bake 350º for 50 minutes or until done. Let stand for 10 minutes and cut into wedges.
