1 large head cabbage, shredded (half red, half white gives a pretty color)
1 teaspoon salt
1 green pepper, chopped
1 large carrot, grated
1 cup vinegar
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle the shredded cabbage with the salt. Toss well and let set for one hour. Drain off any excess water. Add the green pepper and grated carrot and mix well. Combine vinegar, sugar, water and seeds in a saucepan and boil for one minute. Cool. Pour over the cabbage and spoon into freezer container and freeze. Thaw before serving.
