2 pt strawberries, sliced
2/3 c. sugar
2 1/3 c. Bisquick original baking mix
3 tsp. sugar
3 tsp. margarine or butter
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. heavy whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle strawberries with 2/3 cup sugar; let stand 1 hour. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix baking mix, 3 tsp sugar, the margarine and milk until a soft dough forms. Drop dough into 6 mounds onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Beat whipping cream in chilled bowl until stiff. Split shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries. Top with whipped cream. 6 servings. High altitude: Heat oven o 425 degrees. Decrease 3 tsp. sugar in shortcakes to 1 tsp.
