2 sticks butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/4 tsp. lemon flavoring
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a tube or bundt pan. Cream sugar, shortening, and butter at high speed until the mixture is light yellow and very fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each egg. Add vanilla and lemon. Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately with milk, starting with dry ingredients. Beat at slow speed until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Pour into tube pan and bake at 350º for 1-1/4 hours.
