1/3 cup finely-chopped seeded jalapeno peppers

6 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ cup cider vinegar
1/4 tsp green food coloring
1 ½ cup chopped, seeded green pepper
1 (6 ox) package liquid fruit pectin



Directions:
Directions:
Put jalapenos and green pepper in blender (puree) about 1 minute. In large pain, heat sugar and vinegar over medium heat for 20 minutes, until sugar dissolves. Add pureed peppers and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in green color. Remove form heat and stir in pectin. Pour pepper mixture into 11 ½ pint sterilized jars. Fill each jar 1/8 inch from top. Seal jars with lids so hot jelly can destroy mold yeast.
