1/3 C Mazola oleo
1/2 C karo syrup (red label) probably white syrup
3/4 C cream or chunky peanutbutter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 lb powdered sugar sifted
3/4 C chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Blend oleo, syrup, peanutbutter, vanilla and salt in large bowl. Stir in sugar gradually. Turn onto board an dknead until well blended and smooth. Add nuts gradually pressing and kneading into candy. Press out with the hands or rolling pin into squares 1/2 inch thick. Cut into serving pieces. Makes about 2 lbs
