2tbsp. yeast
2tsp. sugar
1c. warm water
2c. milk
1/3c. sugar
1/3c. shortening
2tsp. salt
2 eggs
5-6c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine yeast and the next 2 ingredients. Let sit for 10 minutes. Then heat together the milk, sugar, shortening, and salt. Add the eggs to the heated mixture. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Let rise approximately 1 hour. Punch down, and let stand 10 minutes. Put in prepared pans. Let sit for 1 hour to rise. Then bake in a 375º oven till golden brown.
