1/2 c. butter- softened
3/4 c. fork stirred confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. fork stirred all purpose flour
3/4 c. cornflakes
1/3 c. (approx.) walnuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl beat together the butter, sugar and vanilla until blended; gradually stir in the four until blended. Add the cornflakes; stir until coarsely crumbled.
Chill - covered, until dough is firm enough to handle. Using a level tablespoon for each, roll with palms into balls; roll in the nuts. Place about 3" apart on a ungreased cookie sheet. With fork tines, flatten to 2" rounds and press any nuts that scattered - against edged of the rounds. Bake in a pre-heated 350º oven until golden brown--about 12 minutes.
