1 lb. ground beef
4 oz. noodles
1 15 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 oz. sour cream
3 T. milk
3 T . finely chopped onion
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Cook noodles according to directions on box. Drain well. Set aside. In a large skillet, cook ground beef until it loses its pink coloring. Drain off the drippings and stir in the tomato sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, and the cooked noodles.
Beat cream cheese until soft; stir in the sour cream, milk and onion.
In a 2 qt. casserole dish, put half of the ground-beef mixture and cover in with half of the cream cheese mixture. On the top put the remaining beef mixture. Cover and bake about 45 min. in a 350º oven. Remove casserole from oven and spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the top, then sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.
Return the casserole to oven and bake, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until cheese melt.
