1/4 lb of butter
2 shallots (chopped fine)
3 garlic pods
3 tab chopped garlic
pinch of nutmeg
1 tab dry white wine or vermouth
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Marinate the snails in the sauce overnight. Put in escargot bowls and bake in a 375 degree oven till bubbly. ( may also be put in mushrooms)
