1 lb. cranberries
2 c. water (small measure)1/2 c. less
2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar and water together until sugar is dissolved and is boiling rapidly. Add washed cranberries and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until popping ceases. This makes a stiff cranberry mold.
Or:
Cook cranberries with water until popping ceases, then sieve and add sugar. Cook about 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature.
