3 3/4 C sugar
1 1/2 C light corn syrup
1 C water
2 drams flavor oil Lorann's brand
food coloring
powdered sugar

Directions:
Use a large sauce pan and a candy thermometer. Make sure that the thermometer is not touching the bottom of the pan. Pour the sugar, corn syrup, and water into the pan. Use medium heat, stir until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, then stop stirring. Boil until temp reaches 300º. Remove from heat and after boiling has ceased add oil and about 4 drops of coloring. Pour onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Let cool for an hour. Break with a metal spoon into pieces and put in a zip lock bag. Add a cup of powdered sugar, zip the bag and shake to coat. This keeps the candy from sticking to it's self.
