2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. pork sausage
3 eggs
3/4 c. green pepper (finely chopped)
3/4 c. corn meal
3/4 c. water
3 tsp. garlic salt
3 cans (15 oz) tomato paste
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 tbsp. oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly beat together eggs, water and garlic salt. Add ground beef, pork sausage, green pepper and corn meal. Shape into meatballs (1 tsp.). Place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 400º for 10 to 15 minutes. In a sauce pan, Combine tomato paste, lemon juice, parsley and oregano. Heat to simmering and pour over meatballs. Hint: put in crockpot to keep warm.
