1/2 cup butter--
1 med. egg-
1/2 tsp salt-
2 tsp baking powder-
2 cups sifted flour-
1/2 tsp vanila-

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar.
Blend in egg.
Sift together and add to mixture the salt, baking powder and flour.
Blend vanilla into mixture.
Cut with cookie cutters and bake on lightly greased cookie sheet in 400 degree preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes .
