1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 cup flour (sifted 3X)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together eggs, shortening and sugar. Add sour cream, vanilla, and dry ingredients. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until slightly brown.

You can sprinkle colored sugar on the top of these to give them some color.
