Cake:
1 cake mix (any flavor)
2 cups sour cream
3 eggs

(1 cup chocolate chips, optional)

Glaze:
1/2 of an 8 oz. cool whip
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake ingredients well and pour into greased fluted pan. Bake 45 - 55 minutes at 350º. Let cool 10 minutes in pan and then turn onto wire rack to cool.

For glaze, combine cool whip and chocolate chips in microwavable container. Cook on high 30 - 60 seconds and stir until smooth. Cook another 20 seconds if need be. Spread glaze on top of cake and let some run down the sides.

This is a heavier cake - more like pound cake. The glaze is excellent on any cake that you need a glaze/ganache. Save some in the bowl for yourself to lick!
