6 Slices of bacon
1 Lg. onion sliced
3 carrots diced
3 stalks celery sliced
4 med. red potatoes cut into 1/2" cubes
1 tbsp. minced garlic
3 cups thinly sliced cabbage
1/2 cup small tube shaped macaroni
4 cups chicken broth
1 14 1/2oz. diced tomatoes
1 can white beans


Cook bacon till crisp. remove and chop into pieces, set aside.
Add onions carrots and celery to bacon fat and cook till crisp tender. Now use a soup pot and add broth, 3 cups water,tomatoes,onion,celery,potatoes
and simmer 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.

Stir in cabbage,beans,pasta,and chopped bacon,simmer another 15 minutes.

sprinkle Parmesan cheese over bowls of soup for added flavor and just add some crusty bread and butter,
