1 can beer
1 chicken
kosher salt
McCormick Rotisserie Chicken mix
All-spice
Garlic granules
Aluminum foil
beer can holder (available at WalMart)

Directions:
Directions:
Drink 1/2 of the beer.
Place pinches of the spices in beer can.
Place beer can in holder.
Wrap foil around baking pan then put holder in pan
mount chicken on holder through butt
so it is standing with it's legs resting on the pan
tuck wings behind back.
Spill some of each spice into neck cavity
rub spices over entire chicken generously.
Bake on grill or in oven at 240º for 1 1/2 hours
Let sit for 10 minutes. Stick long knife in throat to help remove to plate for carving

Elyse Brantzeg Rooney deserves the credit for teaching us about this. Once you do a chicken (we have done 3 at a time) this way you may never do it any other way, It stays very moist, the flavor is outstanding and the skin is crisp. Leftover chicken is great for the curry recipe
