Rum Cake Recipe

1 c chopped pecans
1 pkg yellow cake mix (with pudding added)
3 eggs
1/2 c cold water
1/2 c oil
1/2 c dark rum

Glaze:
1 stick butter (1/4 lb)
1/4 c water
1 c sugar
1/2 c dark rum

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour tube pan. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Mix together all cake ingredients. Pour batter over nuts.

Bake at 325º for 1 hour.
Cool cake completely.

Glaze:
Melt butter, stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, Stir in rum.
Inject glaze into cake and over top.
