Wash and dry pork chops thoroughly. Put salt, pepper and flour in a bag. Lightly coat pork chops (shake in bag). Brown pork chops lightly on both sides in butter in a large skillet. Add a can or two of cream of mushroom soup with a little water.

Cover, reduce heat and simmer at least a half hour. You can add milk or water to thicken or thin the gravy. Meat should fall off the bone.
