Meat Sauce
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 pound 11 ounces (90% lean) ground beef
1 (28oz) can crushed tomato 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 bay leaf, 1 tsp each oregano and basil
Cheese & Spinach Filling
10 ounces frozen spinach, blanched, drained and cooled or frozen thawed & drained
1/2 pound shredded mozzarella blend
1 pound whole milk ricotta or cottage cheese
& 1 tsp italian seasoning

913 baking dish
1 box lasagna sheets - I use regular (not pre-cooked) and works fine

spread meat sauce, layer of pasta sheets, cheese mixture, repeat, top with a good layer shredded mozzarella blend cheese.
Bake 45 mins 350
