2 sticks butter- room temp.
3 cups flour- sifted twice
1 small carton whipping cream
dash salt
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs one at a time (beating after each egg) alternating with cream and flour that has been sifted twice.
Add salt and vanilla
Pour into greased and floured tube pan
Bake at 325º for 1 1/2 hours.
Insert wooden skewer to test- should come out clean when removed.
