dough:
Sift Together:
1 1/2 Cup of Flour
1/2 Tsp. of Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp. of Salt
Cut in:
3/4 Cup of Shortening
Add:
1 Beaten Egg
2 Tbsp. of Mix

4 Apples (enough to cover dough) thickly sliced.

Custard:
3 Beaten Eggs
2 Tbsp. of Flour
1 1/2 Cup of Sugar
2/3 Cup of Milk
1/2 Tsp. of Vanilla

Crumb Topping:
1/2 Cup of White Sugar
1/2 Cup of Flour
2 Tbsp. of Shortening
1 Tsp. of Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Press dough into a 9x13 pan (dough should go up the sides of the pan.
Press thick sliced apples over dough
Cover with custard
Sprinkle with crumb mix

Bake at 350º for 25 mins. then 375º for 15 mins.
