½ lb. ground beef
1 minced garlic clove- large
1 can tomato paste
1 half can water
1 (28) oz. can whole tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. crushed oregano
1 qt. water
4 lasagna noodles
1 c. cottage cheese
1 egg- beaten
½ c. grated mozzarella cheese

In a large skillet, on medium heat, brown meat lightly. Drain grease. Add the garlic, stir for 1 min. Add tomato paste with water. Blend whole tomatoes for 5 seconds, add along with oregano. Boil the quart of water. Cook the lasagna noodles. Mix the cottage cheese with the egg and mozzarella cheese. LAYER in a glass dish- Start with half of the meat sauce, 2 pasta noodles and half of the cottage cheese mixture and repeat. Cook for 22 minutes at 350º.

Add some garlic bread to go with this dish.
1 large clove can be replaced with 2 small.
