1 lb ziti
1 24 oz container of ricotta cheese
1 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
Home made sauce or about 2 jars of Ragu or whatever brand you prefer "doctored up" with your favorite seasonings.
McCormick Italian Seasoning, Bay leaves
Oregano, Basil, garlic powder salt and pepper
grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Cook ziti only until firm, drain in colander and then add back to pot. To the ricotta cheese, add parsley, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and stir this into the pasta pot. Mix well, and then add a jar of the tomato sauce and mix again. In a 9 X 13 pan, put a layer of sauce, then the ziti, then mozzarella and some grated cheese. Repeat ending with the cheeses on top. Bake covered 325º about 45 minutes and then uncover and bake until center is hot.

This was another stand by at our house when there were always extra teenagers to feed. The jar sauce worked fine.
