Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 gallon of apple juice, best if unfiltered
juice/pulp from 2-3 oranges
juice from 1 lemon, optional
3-4 cinnamon sticks (or substitute 1 tsp. ground cinnamon)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a pan on the stove. Bring almost to a boil and simmer on low. If you use cinnamon sticks, you will need to let it seeping on low for an hour. I used to put it in a crock pot to keep it warm for the day, but it's great to let it cool down after simmering for an hour, then put it in a glass pitcher with a lid and keep it in the refrigerator, microwaving a mug at a time.

Personal Notes:
I can't drink any one else's mulled cider but I found this in Jane Brody's book pre-Teresa and love it.
