6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Break chocolate into pieces. Bring evaporated milk into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Once it is at a boil, immediately remove from heat and add chocolate. Cover and set aside for 10 minutes.

Put the by-now-melted chocolate into a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, butter, and vanilla. Mix well. Microwave for 15 seconds. Keep mixing until the frosting is smooth enough.

Refrigerate until the spreading consistency is to your liking. If serving later, you may want to soften it a little.
