1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 c. salad oil
1 c. regular rolled oats
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
3 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat over to 325. Cream together butter & sugar until fluffy. Add egg and salad oil, mixing well. Add oats, cornflakes, coconut & nuts, mixing well. Add flour, soda, salt and vanilla, mixing well. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for a few minutes.
