1 pound butter – softened
8 eggs
4 cups sugar
6 teaspoons baking powder
3 large oranges – rind only
˝ teaspoon vanilla
1 ˝ cups whole milk
2 cups flour – added as needed
Whole almonds – peeled, for decoration

Directions:
Directions:
Add all dry ingredients to flour and stir.
Beat eggs. In deep bowl, beat butter and sugar. Mix in vanilla and milk. Add eggs and mix well.
Keep mixture runny.
Pour into large buttered cake pan, reserving some for decoration.
Remaining mixture can be thickened with flour and rolled into snakes for decorating with almonds.
