1 packet active dry yeast
1 c. warm water
1/3 c. instant nonfat dry milk
2 T. sugar
1 t. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. melted butter
3 to 3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
milk
sesame seeds

Meat filling:
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. finely chopped onion
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
1 T. dried sweet pepper flakes
1 t. paprika
1/2 t. oregano
1/2 t. celery salt
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/8 t. pepper
3/4 c. chopped olives

Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water in large bowl. Add dry milk, sugar, salt, egg & butter; mix well. Add flour gradually to form stiff dough; beat well after each addition. Let rise in warm place (85º-90º) until light and doubles, 45-60 min.
While dough is rising, prepare meat filling. Combine ground beef, onion, tomato sauce, mushrooms & pepper flakes in skillet. Add paprika, oregano, celery salt, garlic salt & pepper. Cover & simmer 30-40 min. Drain, stir in olives. Cool to lukewarm.
Knead dough on floured surface until smooth & satiny, 3-5 minutes. Press or roll out dough on greased cookie sheet to a 15X12 in. rectangle.Place cooled filling down center thrid of dough to within 2 inches of edges. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. make diagonal cuts 2 inches apart on each side of rectangle, just to edges of filling. Fold ends over filling then fold side strips over filling, alternating sides & crossing in center. Brush with milk, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let rest in warm place 15 min. Bake 375º for 25-35 min. until golden brown.
