3 pounds top round, cut in small strips
3 tbsps oil 1 1/2 cups finely chopped onion
4 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup flour 2 cups beef broth
1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp dill weed
1 tsp thyme 2 cups sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown meat in oil.
Cook onions in drippings until transparent; add mushrooms and cook for 2 min. longer.
Blend flour with 1/4 cup broth and add to pan/
Add beef broth gradually, stirring constantly.
Add salt, pepper, dill, thyme; cook, stirring until thickened. Stir in meat. Add sour cream and gently heat ( do not boil)
Serve on buttered noodles with green beans /almonds OR with rice or mashed potatoes.
Suggestion for dessert: Apple dumplings.
