1/2 lb. elbow macaroni
3/4 lb. sweet Italian sausage - pork or turkey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 1/2 cup marinara sauce
1/4 cup water
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 T chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni per directions on package and drain. Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over med.-high heat for 1 minute. Brown sausage. Reduce heat. Add garlic and cumin; cook 2 minutes. Stir in marinara sauce, water and chickpeas. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add pasta. Garnish with parsley.
