I lb hamburger
2 cans of stewed tomatoes
2 cans of diced green chili
2 c pinto beans
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 packets of McCormick Chili Seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Put 2 c. pinto beans in a pot, cover with warm water and let soak overnight. In the morning, rinse beans and put in crock pot. Cover beans with water, so that the water is about 2 in. above the beans. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Check occasionally to make sure you have enough liquid.
About 30 minutes before you are ready to serve, brown hamburger in a pan. Dice the onion and bell pepper and saute with hamburger for 10-15 min. (or until veggies are soft), drain fat. Add meat and veggie to crock pot. Add 2 cans of stewed tomatoes to crock pot. Add Chili seasoning to crock pot, stir well so seasoning dissolves evenly.

Personal Notes:
My family doesn't like chunks of tomato, so I usually put the tomatoes in the blender.
I also like my chili to have a little kick, so I usually add one fresh green jalapeņo.
