Approximately 24 jalapeņo peppers (raw or canned)
1 pound Jimmy Dean Sausage
2 cups Bisquick
1 (16 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
I tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 16 ounce package cream cheese

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F

2. Remove stem and seeds from jalapeņos and discard the stem and seeds

3. Slice cream cheese. Stuff the jalapeņos with cream cheese slices.

4. In a medium bowl, combine the sausage, Bisquick, cheddar cheese, garlic salt and crushed red pepper. Mix into a thick batter which is formed around each jalapeņo.

5. Place the individually battered/wrapped jalapeņos on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
