1/2 c butter (can use margarine but not as tasty);
1 c white sugar;
2 large eggs;
1/2 c sour milk (add a bit of vinegar to make milk sour);
1 tsp. baking soda;`
1 tsp. baking powder;
2 c all purpose flour;
1 tsp. vanilla;
1 tsp. salt;
3 very ripe large mashed bananas (add last).

Frosting: I usually use chocolate ready-made frosting (Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines) - but cream cheese frosting is good, too...

Mash the bananas on a large plate and put aside.

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add in vanilla. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add to creamed ingredients.

Add sour milk. Mix.

Lastly, add mashed bananas and mix together.

Bake in a greased and floured bunt pan at 350 F for 40 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
