1 cup white sugar
1 cup margarine
1 cup oil
1 egg
1 cup rice krispie cereal
1 cup coconut
1 cup quick oatmeal
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
dash salt
1 cup pecans
chocolate chips: optional
scor chips: optional

DUMP and stir ingredients together: DROP dough by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet: BAKE at 350º until done ( 8-12 minutes... depending on oven) DEVOUR......

I have seen this same recipe several times under several names. Some recommend oven at 325 degrees with longer cook times. Some substitute shortening instead of butter or margarine. It is still a great cookie base..... add what you like!
