1 lb smoked sausage cut into small pieces
1 C chopped celery
1/2 C chopped onion
1/2 C chopped bell pepper
1/2 bottle (16 oz) of your favorite barbeque sauce
6 slices of bacon-cut in small pieces
1 C uncooked rice
2 C water
1 can stewed tomatoes (smaller can)
2 tsp garlic powder
2 chicken breasts cooked and cut into small pieces
Cayenne pepper to taste

In 5 quart pan, cook bakon until crisp, do not drain. Add uncooked rice into the pan and cook for about 5 mins. Add celery, pepper and onions and cook for about 5-7 mins. Add water, BBQ sauce, garlic powder and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat to low and simmer for 10 mins. Add chicken and sausage pieces. Add cayenne pepper to spice it up. Cook until rice is tender, stirring occassionally. You may add cooked shrimp at the end if you desire.
