25-30 medium size cucumbers sliced
8 large onions
2 large sweet bell peppers
1/2 cup salt
5 cups sugar
5 cups cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. tumeric
1/2 tsp. whole cloves

Mix salt and cucumbers together and let stand 3 hours.
Put in jars.....
Boil sugar, vinegar, spices
Put veggies in just to boiling point...... pour over cucumbers and seal.

Aunt Mozelle Henegar made these pickles every summer.....She usually doubled the batch because Patty Lou and I ate them by the jar!!
