Rosie’s Chocolate Brownies


Ingredients:

Dough:
4 oz. Chocolate, unsweetened
½ C Butter
1 ¼ Plus 3 T Sugar
1 t Vanilla
3 Large Eggs
¾ C Flour
Pecans or walnut (optional)

Frosting:
1 ½ oz. Chocolate
¼ C Sugar
¼ C Evaporated milk

Preparation:

1. Melt chocolate and butter. Cool 5 minutes. Beat in sugar 1 to 2 minutes. Add vanilla. Beat in lightly beaten eggs. Add flour and nuts if desired. Stir only until shiny. Pour into greased square pan. Bake in preheated oven (350F) 20 to 25 minutes.
2. Melt chocolate for frosting. Cool completely. Pour into blender or bowl with the rest of ingredients. Blend or beat until thick and creamy, about 5 minutes. Frost brownies when cool.
