1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. green pepper
4 cloves of garlic
2 - 16 oz. can of diced tomatoes
2 - 16 oz. can of pinto beans or kidney beans
2 - 8 oz. can of tomato sauce
6 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
4 tbsp. brown sugar

Brown hamburger with onion, pepper and garlic. Drain fat and stir in rest of ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes.

I like to cook mine in the crock pot, brown hamburger and dump everything in, stir and let cook about 4 to 6 hours on low.
