Baked Cheese Cake


Ingredients:

Crust:
1 ½ C (21 squares) Graham cracker crushed
¼ C Sugar
1/3 C Butter or margarine, melted


Filling:
5 Pkgs. (8 oz. Each) Cream Cheese, softened
1 ¾ C Sugar
3 T Flour
3 T Orange peel (less if preferred)
¼ t Salt
1 t Vanilla
6 Eggs
¼ C Light cream or milk

Preparation: Crust

1. In medium bowl combine crumbs, sugar and melted butter. Blend well.
2. Press firmly into bottom and up sides (slightly) of spring form pan.

Preparation: Filling

1. Heat oven to 450F.
2. In large bowl, beat cream cheese until creamy.
3. Add sugar, flour, orange peel, salt and vanilla; beat well.
4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
5. Blend in cream.
6. Pour filling into prepared pan.
7. Bake at 450F for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 300F and bake 65-70 minutes or until filling is almost set and golden brown.
8. Cool. Refrigerate several hours or over night before serving.
9. Server plan or with sweetened fresh fruit or fruit pie filling.

Yields 14 to 16 servings.
