2 ½ -3 c. Flour
1 c. Shortening
2 tbsp. Sugar
1 can Pie Filling
1 tsp. Salt
1 Egg Yolk
2/3 c. Milk
Frosting:
2 c. Powdered Sugar
¼ c. soft Butter
1-2 tbsp. hot Water
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Flour, Shortening, Sugar, and Salt. Add beaten Yolk to Milk; add Flour mixture and stir to dough. Roll out half of dough to fit jelly-roll pan. Cover with Pie Filling and dot with Butter. Roll out top crust to fit. Cut diagonal vents after crust is in place. Brush top with Egg White. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Ice while hot.
